'Gardens of Adonis' at Tate Modern


My preparations for 'Garden of Adonis' at Tate Modern through sharing dishes cooked using herbs and spices grown in local community gardens. The dishes and activities are based on the role of spices and sensuality and desire in the ancient Greek Festival of Adonia, and the culinary history of my Scottish and Chinese-Mauritian heritage as well as the Tate chefs with whom I am collaborating.
